UNDERSTANDING OUR ICONS

There are a number of considerations when choosing the right apparel to keep you and your workforce safe and comfortable.

To help you choose the best gear for your job, here’s an explanation of some of the features you will find in our products. Look out for these icons on the product's pages.

Anti-Static Icon: The garment will not create static electricity when worn

Acceptable fabric composition as listed in AS/NZS 1020: 1995 The control of undesirable static electricity. The garment will not create static electricity when worn.		 Sun Protection Icon: Fabric rated 50+ UPF Sun Protection

The fabric used in this garment was tested and rated 50+ UPF Sun Protection in accordance with the Standard AS/NZS 4399: 1999 Sun Protective Clothing - Evaluation and Classification.		 Preshrunk Icon: Clothing that have already been washed, or compacted

Preshrunk fabrics are items of clothing that have already been washed, or “compacted,” so additional washings will not shrink the garment.

 Ripstop Icon: Woven resistant to tearing and ripping

Ripstop fabrics are woven fabrics, that use a special reinforcing technique making them more resistant to tearing and ripping.

 Durability Icon: Garments over 340gsm fabric or stronger construction

Garments featuring this icon have characteristics such as over 340gsm fabric or stronger construction that increases the garment durability.
Breathable Icon: Garments of Breathable Fabric
Garments featuring this icon are made of breathable fabric, keeping you cool no matter the temperature.		 Lightweight Icon: Garments of lighter weight fabric
Garments featuring this icon are made with lighter weight fabric to keep you cool and comfortable.

COOLKIT Icon: Garments have strategically placed COOLKIT ventings
Garments featuring this icon have strategically placed COOLKIT ventings in the underarms and on the back to keep you cool and comfortable.

 Stretch Icon: Fabrics have stretch properties
Fabrics with this icon have stretch properties, providing extra mobility to the user. 
Water Proofing Icon: Fabricswill not permit water to pass through it over an 18 hour period.
Garments featuring this icon meets the Australian Standard AS/NZS 2001.2.18:1987 which requires that fabrics, under set conditions, will not permit water to pass through it over an 18 hour period.		 Cold Protection Icon: Winter Garments

PPE 1 NFPA 70E Icon: Garments meet requirements for ARc Flash Hazard risk
Products featuring this icon meet the requirements for arc flash hazard risk category PPE1 as specified by the NFPA 70E, and have an ATPV rating between 4 - 8.

 PPE 2 NFPA 70E Icon: Garments meet requirements for ARc Flash Hazard risk
Products featuring this icon meet the requirements for arc flash hazard risk category PPE2 as specified by the NFPA 70E, and have an ATPV rating between 8 - 12.
Approved NFPA 2112 Icon: Tested and Passed against Flash Fires
Products featuring this icon were tested in credentialed laboratories and passed all the tests against flash fire required by the NFPA 2112.		 OEKO-TEX Icon: Garments safe against harmful chemicals

Garments featuring this icon are safe against harmful chemicals and certified by Oeko-Tex Standards 100.
